Superior contains all of the delicious and nutritious Butcher’s
goodness with the added extra luxury of real meat pieces.
Naturally, all Butcher’s recipes contain all the vitamins and minerals your dog needs to keep him fit
and healthy.
Is Butcher’s Superior
a treat product?
Butcher’s Superior is a complete pet food for dogs
containing everything that your dog needs to keep him fit
and healthy. Butcher’s Superior can be fed daily
or in addition to his usual Butcher’s meals.
How
much Butcher’s Superior should I feed my dog?
A dogs
daily requirement of food will vary from dog to dog dependent
on breed, age and activity level, however please use our
guide below.
Is it safe to change
to Butcher’s Superior from my standard brand?
Yes, It is
perfectly safe to change your dogs diet to Butcher’s
Superior unless otherwise instructed by your vet. As with
all pet foods, we recommend that the change takes place
gradually over a number of days to prevent upsetting your
dogs stomach. You should gradually decrease the volume
of current food and gradually increase the volume of Butcher’s
Superior over a number of days.
Is Butcher’s Superior
made with natural ingredients?
Yes, as it is made by Butcher’s,
you can be assured that it is made from only natural ingredients
and contains no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.
Butcher’s Superior do not use any cereal or soya
to bulk out the product containing fresh quality meat and
vegetables.
My dog is gluten intolerant;
can he eat Butcher’s
Superior?
Some dogs are intolerant to the gluten from the
added cereals in some pet foods however Butcher’s
does not use any cereal or soya in our products making
it suitable for dogs with a gluten intolerance.
Is the
packaging recyclable?
Yes, our steel cans and paper labels are
fully recyclable. The foil trays are made from aluminium
which is recyclable and the outer carton is made from recycled
materials and is also recyclable. The outer carton for both the foil trays and the pouches is made from recycled materials
and is recyclable.
Has Butcher’s Superior
been tested on animals?
No. Butcher's strongly oppose any invasive testing and do not conduct any, or instruct others to do so on our behalf. We do conduct "palatability" or taste tests that are carried out by a panel of pet dogs in their normal home environment by their owners. We do not house dogs on our site.
